Billy Byrnes was a great choice for our night out in Kilkenny. The food was brilliant my group is still raving about it, the service top notch and the atmosphere was genuinely funky without being forced. The bus in the back beer garden is a bit mad alright! I'd highly recommend this spot for solo travellers, couples and groups. William was incredibly sound and accommodating for our group and he runs a fine establishment. Went for lunch last Wednesday. Had never been before. Ordered a burger. I have to say it was the nicest burger and chip I have ever had. The flavours were amazing. Will definitely eat there againService: 5/5

Went for food here today 27/04 23 We got chips X2 Budda bowl There chips were covered in salt seat salt an I can't have salt an end up nearl chocking of in there beer garden no one offer help or water left me there I will be onto owner tomorrow That should not cover food in salt as much as they did I couldn't eat my food I had to dump it an still had o pay bill all.thay remove was 3 50 for chips after nearly pass out I'll be onto solicitors after I call them tomorrow I'll update this
I popped in here for breakfast on a Sunday before I headed back to Galway and got a really delicious brunch potatoes, chorizo topped with poached egg and a really good oat milk cappuccino. The staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. I asked to bring another cappuccino with me in my travel mug for the drive home and they gave it for free saying refills were free that day so really good value for money. Even apart from that it was great value for really tasty food. Definitely recommend. It was quiet that morning and I was turned away from another Bistro nearby with a 45min wait think it was more because I was on my own and they were busy but they did suggested this place when I asked for a recommendation so I appreciated that. I will definitely be going back here though when I'm in Kilkenny.
Had a few hours in Kilkenny work related and went here for lunch excellent service friendly staff and food very good Food & drinks: Lovely food great staff
called in here at lunchtime. Around 6 people were having lunch. Sat at a table. No one came with menu. went up to counter. 2 staff chatting. . totally ignored me. When I said excuse me one turned around and said what do you want!! I asked for a menu which was literally thrown at me. Sat down. No one came to take an order. Got up and left. So I cannot comment on the food. but customer service at its very worst
Awful I have been going there for years not been for a year or so staff were rude menu was changed and awful
