Bullards Bar is almost full thanks to the recent storms that brought a lot of snow & rain to the area. After several years of drought, it's nice to see that a great boating season is in store. Now all we need is a floating pub.
Amazing! I think this is my new favorite place to surf behind a boat! The water is so teal and feels lovely! They have a store on the water. Easy to put the boat in and out of the water. They have floating restrooms throughout the lake - gotta love that! Lots of camping options! Will be coming back!
This is one of my favorite places to go in the summer. The water is great and the scenery is beautiful! We've always stayed at schoolhouse campgrounds or shore camped. We normally love the campgrounds, though this year I was a little bummed about there being no camp host. It allowed for more unruly people and breaking rules; such as, dogs not being a leash and leaving out food instead of in the bear boxes they provide... We will continue to go, though next time we will be a little more prepared on where we stay!
Bullards Bar Trail is well maintained. Bathrooms near parking at the reservoir and by the trail.
Best place for bringing friends and family together!!!
Amazing place with beautiful Dam and reservoir. I was there for a brief moment only but saw plenty of boathouses there. I believe the boat houses can be rent for a weekend gateway. It looked amazing. They also had floating restrooms in the reservoir, isn't that amazing!!!! One downside could be that the rental price for those boathouses are pretty expensive.
The lake is beautiful and big. I've only been to Dark Day Campground so far and it has a lot of hills on long walks to the water. Looks nice though. Has bathrooms
Beautiful lake. If they are going to let the Kokanee spawn unchecked,unlike other lakes which use triploid browns they need to add bait fish. The Bass and Kokanee only have each other to eat. It's really sad to see a fisher in this state.
Great lake! Sad to see the low water level. We had a great time amongst the TRUMP SUPPORTERS. That was eye opening! Our rap music and weed smoke muffled the meow.. can't wait.to go back!
The marina boat ramp at Bullards is way easier to launch from than the other one. there is ample mooring space, and the line to launch or reloading is shorter. plus they have a cute little marina store.
