We had a good time. The room was clean and good for our needs. Definitely an old world feel as the room is just 3 beds and a sink.Food: 5/5
It is the best place in town where you can meet your friends and relax with live music.Food: 4/5
Popped in for a pint on a Wednesday afternoon and the bartender was very friendly and kind. Even turned us onto Wolf Alice. Great Ireland pub experience.
An excellent bar in Kilkenny. A great selection of beers and helpful courteous staff. On a recent visit we were treated to some fantastic live music from local band The Barflies. Will definitely return there when in Kilkenny.
Great music. We missed the live gig but caught the end of it and the band sounded great. The piped music was fabulous with anything from the cure to the Poges.
Great pub, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice decor , great music and funky beer garden
You want top beer,you come here ... Pints are exceptional, Guinness, Smithwicks and in particular Tuborg ... However, the 'Barflies' have to be the highlight. A household band that have played here every Sunday for 20 years + . Neil young, Nick Cave & Pixies you name it they play it .. a proper band 'Barlflies Kilkenny' playlist on Spotify . Plus I must add the professionalism of Bartender James and Manager John . James keeps the pints flowing and John keeps the locals entertained Tops chaps
