I recently had the most appalling experience at Biddy Early's cocktail bar in Kilkenny, which left me feeling utterly humiliated and emotionally distressed. The night had started on a high note, with laughter and camaraderie from a comedy gig, but it took a dark turn when I entered Biddy Early's. Upon needing to use the restroom, I opted for a toilet stall due to my anxiety around using urinals in crowded spaces. As I was finishing up, a bouncer began banging on the door, ultimately accusing me of illicit activities and demanding that I leave the bar. Despite my pleas of innocence and offers to be searched, the bouncer showed no empathy or understanding, forcefully pushing me towards the exit. This heartless treatment left me shaking and devastated, as I was forced to wait outside while my friends and family finished their drinks. The owner's response to my initial 1-star review was a single, offensive word: "scumbag." This callous disregard for a customer's well-being and the lack of empathy displayed by both the bouncer and the owner are truly shocking. Upon further investigation, I discovered that this is a recurring pattern in this establishment, as evidenced by other 1-star reviews and the owner's dismissive responses. It seems that Biddy Early's thrives on a power trip, prioritizing control over customer satisfaction. I implore anyone considering a visit to Biddy Early's to think twice, lest they too fall victim to such a dehumanizing and traumatic experience.
Recently experienced a shocking event unfold at this place. My friend was kicked out of the bar after using the toilet and falsely accused of that he did more than use the toilet. The bouncer never even clarified what that extra activity was and assulted my friend until he left the bar. To make matters worse, one of the bouncers lacked proper identification, which is a requirement for working in this role. This will be reported along with photo evidence I took and will cause a headache for the owner. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment.
The bouncers were super nice and friendly, that's all. The service unfriendly and the drinks are stretched out after a while no more alcohol inside. And as I said the service very unfriendly never again and I went there from Germany.
Never go here. The bouncers are useless at their job. Stay away unless you want to be assaulted without reason!!! I have reported them to the guards. Just looking at how they reply to any criticism says enough about the kind of people they are. Disgusting.
I witnessed a distressing situation at Biddy Early's cocktail bar in Kilkenny. The bouncer's hostile behavior towards my friend, who was simply using the restroom, was unacceptable. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment.
We went with 50 people for hen party. My auntie went in to order drink and her card was not working we were in the beer garden someone offer to help her but the manager was screening at her and once we find out we left after telling him how can someone be that’s rude with 60 year old woman. So rude.we will never go back. Not recommended at all
Was walking by and popped in when we saw 9euro cocktails. Great cocktails, friendly staff and lovely spot. Will definitely return next time in Kilkenny.

Friendly staff, great Mexican food!! Had freshly made chipotle Chicken corn tacos and they were great!! would recommend if you like spicy food with a great pints!
