Browns Oxford

I have been visiting Brown for a good 20 years or so (Brighton, Bath, Bristol). This has got to be the saddest one of all. It smells of sewage at the bar area (this hasn't changed for the past 7 years since I first visited the Oxford one). The food really isn't as nice in this one, and to be fair, apart from the guy at the bar, the service is 'grumpy'. Tgeyvreally can't be bothered. Which means I can't be bothered to visit again.

Really nice place, friendly staff. Went for an afternoon tea, the food was good, although there should be more tea served imo. Nice decor.

This was as great this year as it was 30 years ago when I came here for a treat as an Oxford student. Lovely food and surroundings, efficient well trained staff.

Always a solid choice for a meal in Oxford, the staff is extremely polite and enthusiastic and the food is top quality
