Old school, quality service with a knowledgeable and friendly shop owner. Whilst I ended up getting a deal elsewhere on a bike they didn't stock (they could have ordered it but it would have been marginally more expensive), I will always consider this shop in the future for a new bike or accessories.

Excellent. I have been taking my mountain bikes to John for about 7 years now. All the problems are sorted within the agreed time and my attempts at fixing are always rectified!
