Very poor quality with prices higher than they should be. £4.10 for a BLT which was on a tiny, cheap white bread roll no choice given. The lettuce and tomato were the bits most people discard and the bacon was reheated and dried out. The tea was just a mug with a teabag......plastic spoons from a grubby cup on the counter and a communal sugar bowl.....so unhygienic! For a fraction more money the cafe round the corner is far far better value for money with cleanliness and good service.
Lovely place to chill and have breakfast in the morning. Food taste good and their cakes is so fresh! Will be back for more.
The Beulay cafe is a family-run cafe with an awesome view of the lake, which is directly opposite. With good food and drinks, and friendly staff, the Beulay is my cafe of choice when I visit Newmillerdam, which is a fabulous place for a walk. The Beulay also has the best selection of ice cream, in a wide variety of flavours.

Dog friendly, cute little cafe on a popular walking route. Great for a quick drink ands a cool down on a hot day or to warm up on a cooler day. Very clean despite being dog friendly. Very accommodating to people and pets.
Very happy little cafe, could ideally be a bit bigger but we'll run.Food: 5/5
Drinks were exceptional hot not something you find in every cafe sadly. Service: 4/5
Very reasonable prices but the cutlery we were given was filthy. I asked for it to be changed and the next lot was no better, encrusted with dried food. The third lot had obviously been wiped with a wet cloth before coming to us as we could see the smear marks on the knives.
Clean warm cafe with friendly staff and good menu choices.Food: 5/5
