Excellent cafe and clearly very popular. Customers not just having coffees and cakes but very generously portions meals. bacon and sausage sandwiches excellent.....need to go for Sunday lunch next..... it was jam packed the other Sunday with bookings

This is a great use of the former visitor centre. A cosy cafe with good breakfasts and lunches. Nice coffee. Friendly staff. Very dog-friendly - they even provide doggie towels so you can dry your pooch up a bit on wet days.

Sadly not a pleasant experience for me at all ... I was shocked at the price of a cheese savoury sandwich (£5.50) and when I politely questioned why the cold sandwiches were so much more than a hot meat sandwich was told “ this is the lunch menu and anyway you’ve eaten it” The owner told me “ I d have to go talk to him as he cooked as he was very busy “!! Charming and for a new business too in a very crowded market ... maybe some customer service skills required I won’t be returning !!

Exclusive but lovely produce and quality of meals. Tea and scone served on China, delicious baked goods! Very helpful and friendly staff with a gorgeous view of Sandal Castle. Dog friendly makes this place a real pleasure!

Great Sunday Roast last week, with courteous and attentive staff. Catered for two children with food allergies superbly. See you again soon.
