Nice place for a good walk. Has some nice views. Can photograph some nice evening skies and the moon. Not recommended when tis wet and windy.

A wholey underwhelming place bounded buy the monstrosity that South Shields Council started off as a string of fountains and then turned into flower beds when they had an interdepartmental clash about the funding of the ongoing maintenance of the pumps. Gandhi's temple which has been left derelict for years and only been saved by private investment turning it into a great restaurant. Gypsies green Stadium which is a game a travesty that has been left to rack and ruin by South Shields Council, and all around by paying car parking to milk the residents of South Tyneside for daring to drive to the beach to enjoy the sand and sea.

Nice open field for a bit of a kick around. Has plenty of events thought out the year. Ranging from concerts to circus.

Great venue for the summer music festival all throughout August not to be missed. It's just a shame the council can not spend any money on the park it is a mess.
