I've never been treated so rudely in my life! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! I wanted a soft bed, but the softest on display wasn't soft enough. The saleswoman explained that if I bought the same mattress but with a sprung-edge base instead of its current firm base, it may be softer. So I asked if I could try that out, by them moving the mattress onto the nearby sprung-edge base. She said no. I said how can I buy the bed without properly trying it?! She said, incredibly, that I had to 'imagine' how it would feel! Then the manager stormed over - an incredibly rude, aggressive man - who shouted at me, saying they were not going to let me try this combination no matter how many times I asked. I said this is poor service, and told him about the poor reviews of the shop on Google. Instead of trying to improve his service, he shouted at me to leave the shop!! This was in front of the other customers! I left feeling stressed for the rest of the day! How do they possibly think they can sell beds treating people like this?! Appalling! This might just be a problem at this branch rather than Bensons generally - I would never advise anyone to shop at this branch!

STAY AWAY! DIABOLICAL SERVICE, went into the store today and specifically asked for an orthopedic mattress. An Asian woman first started off by saying we don't do orthopedic we do posturepedic. After explaining several times we do not want a mattress with a topper she was insistent on showing EVEN more mattresses which were too soft with a topper. I found a firm mattress by myself which they call a 5 but through no help of this woman. The price was ridiculous, and I'm not surprised if she gave me the wrong price so she could sell her mattress with a topper. Shameless and no interest in what I want. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVER!

Absolutely shocking customer service. Took 45 minutes to buy a bed. The payment terms went from 20 months to 10 AFTER we had paid a deposit and got half way through the process. The place is the walking dead of sleazy salesmen, you can smell the desperation in the air. Find the bed you want and buy online.
