The fish we serve are delivered daily from Billingsgate Market, as they offer the largest selection of fresh fish in the UK. They have daily arrivals from the coast and overseas which ensure a continuity of fresh supplies. We are passionate about good fish.

We are bringing traditional fish and chips into the 21st century. Our menu and restaurant celebrate the beauty of the very freshest fish, caught and delivered daily so it's fresh on your plate every time.

Our food is made from the highest quality, fresh and sustainable fish. We peel and hand cut our potatoes daily onsite which ensures constant fresh chips. You can choose from a selection of the best Cod, Haddock, Plaice, Scampi or Skate which are all cooked in the most delicious crunchy fresh batter.

And we’re fully licensed, which means you can enjoy a beer or wine with your meal if you prefer.

Ben’s Traditional Fish & Chips was fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, contributing to a great dining experience. The place was spotless, which added to our comfort and enjoyment.  I have lots of allergies, and the staff were very accommodating, offering me a delicious vegetables and fish plate that was absolutely perfect. My mom and niece had the classic fish and chips, and they thoroughly enjoyed them. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy batter, and the chips were golden and tasty.  What impressed us most was the affordability. Despite offering such high-quality food and service, the prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants.  Overall, Ben’s Traditional Fish & Chips provides great value for money with outstanding food, excellent service, and a friendly, clean environment. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic fish and chips experience.

A very nice little store that serves good fish and chips. Recommend to sit outside to enjoy your food while immersing in the bustling atmosphere of London. Cod fish is good. If the batter is more fluffy and thicker that would be even more awesome. Portion is good too. Tartar sauce goes well with the fish. There is no 12.5% surcharge on top of your bill, which is great!

The best fish and chips in town. The batter is really tastefull and crispy. The cod inside was very fresh. The portions are very large and you get unlimited sauces on your table. Price was lovely. 30£ for two portions fish and chips and 2 cokes. Somebody came begging for money on the terrace and instead of yelling at him they told him to stop and wait for 8 minutes and gave him some food to take away.

If you are near Covent Garden in London, you must try this place. Their fried fish is incredibly fresh. Since there were no seats available, we ordered for takeout. All the dishes are made to order, and we waited about 10 minutes, but it was totally worth it. Even the chips tasted great and natural. The packaging was also very nice. It's an exceptionally fresh fish and chips shop, and paired with the nearby Tastea, it's simply perfect.

It is a small place and they specialize on fish and chips. The portion size is large. I had gone late at 10.30 pm and it looks like the fish could have been more fresh, but it could be because they were closing and we were the last customer. Service was great.Food: 4/5

We went to this place for my son's birthday on August 20th. We ate an excellent typical Fish and Chips for the right amount. The owner was very nice because he even got us a small cake to celebrate our birthday. We felt like family! First time eating Fish and Chips in London and it was really fantastic! We really loved it! Really nice fish and chips reasonably priced especially considering it's location. It was all freshly cooked with crispy batter for the fish and the chips were nicely chunky. All washed down with a cold bottle of Stella.Food: 5/5

I had the haddock and chips yesterday and a beer. The taste was okay but my stomach was awful immediately after. I felt I was going to be ill, had to rush to the restroom. I mentioned it to the 20 something server with the unibrow that I my stomach was feeling awful. He just said we've never heard that before. No sign of concern and walked away. I mentioned it to another server and was very nice and said Ill mention it to my boss. That difference between the two meant a great deal. I enjoyed the chips and beer but likely won't be back again
