A brilliant restaurant in the heart of London that combines traditional British fish n' chips with the excellent Greek cuisine.
Gigs was opened in 1958 by a Cypriot emigre called Gyriaokos('Gigs' to his friends). During this time he had the idea of introducing fish and chips to complement the traditional Greek Cypriot cuisine. It was probably the first time it had ever been done and it worked!
In 2006, myself(Aristos) and Christos took over the restaurant. We have kept the original menu with just a few tweaks. We also renovated the premises to bring them in the 21st century.
