Just arrived in London in a chilly evening and look for a place to eat close to the hotel and was so happy to find North Sea! Ordered the Cod with chips and it was perfectly cooked! Fresh fish and crispy chips. Loved the tartar sauce and I DON'T LIKE Tartar sauce . They have fresh fish arriving daily. Highly recommend Very friendly waiters also, Martina, Bruna and Desi were very attentive and efficient
Love my grilled haddock! Consistently tender, slightly sweet and went very well with lemon and tartar. Salad was fresh, chips and boiled potato were great sides too. All staff members were friendly and made us feel right at home. When we visited, most patrons were Asians and tourists, seems like the restaurant has quite a reputation. Thank you so much for the lovely meal!
I visited this place with my brother a month ago. Our eyes were bigger than our stomach because we ordered a starter and then the huge platter, but all the varieties of fishes were amazing!Food: 5/5
Great fish&chips. Home made chips and fresh, tasty fish. Large portion is really really large -enough for two adults. One of the best London food experience I had.
My daughter and I were in London for three weeks visiting a friend. We ate here three times during our visit. The owner was very kind to my daughter and remembered her each time. The fish and chips are great! Our favorite meal was the bangers and mash. My daughter has told several people about the bangers and mash since returning home. Kid-friendliness: This was our first meal when we arrived in London. My daughter was very sleepy. They offered her ice cream to help cheer her up. She loved this restaurant.
In my opinion the best chippy in central London, coming from a northerner with high standards. Chips perfectly fried, staff generous with the vinegar, cheap lunch when in the area. Got a takeaway and took it to the pub round the corner. Just top notch stuffFood: 5/5
My sister and I were anxious to try the fish and chips, and this place came highly recommended. It didn't disappoint. We had the cod & chips, and the haddock & chips, with a very nice fresh green salad. It was all delicious! We didn't have room for dessert, but there was a cake that looked divine. The owner introduced himself and let us know that it has been family operated into the second generation. I look forward to coming back the next time I am in London.
Superb haddock fry at this trad restaurant. The fries, mushy peas abs coleslaw were so good I ate far more than I normally. House beer could be nicer.Food: 5/5
Will start to say the service was great and also the starters were delicious, the bread and the butter specifically. I didn't enjoy the food for 2 reasons, it's too expensive for what it was and the fried fish tastes all the same due to the oil. It was not very tasty at all and made us all be all day having a funny stomach and pain in the belly for a day. Great waitresses and super polite. Service was fast, but food quality definitely can be improved.
