Cute and small restaurant. I got the haddock fish & chips and it was delicious! Good service. Came as a solo traveler and it was totally fine!
It would be helpful to have been warned that the chips are cooked in duck fat before eating. If there was clear signage that the restaurant isn't, in any way, vegetarian friendly, then it wouldn't have been so insulting. Not catering to vegetarians is fine, but to purposefully not tell people is not acceptable.
Have been in London over a week conducting painstaking research on the absolute best fish and chips in town...this place was it The cod was flaky and fresh, the tartar was nicely laden with tarragon, the chips were frustratingly hot as I continued to burn my tongue, unable to wait to eat them. Best ever
Wasn’t so impressed with the Fish n Chips here. The batter is quite bland. Definitely would be able to get a tastier ones in the markets.
Lovely staffs and food!!! We were here just after they opened and everything is so fresh and the crew seem really upbeat. There’s a free jukebox in this restaurant and they served me a generous amount of curry sauce, great for sharing and to dip your chips and fish in. Will be back!!
Lovely place for fish and chips. But sausage in a bun hot dog is very good.
