As I'm homeless I only go there for a shower and this time I had a much better experience. The staff were very professional and friendly and very helpful. I'm pleased to see that they have put up a mirror in the disabled shower room and that it was clean. No complaints this time people.

Not a bad 25m swimming pool + a smaller boom pool and diving pool. The water temp is slightly on the chilly side, but that keeps you moving! Paid car park. Mixed changing is warm and clean although there is a relatively limited number of showers. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Extremely rude staff member who dealt with our query, made my son scared to the point he cried and when this was pointed out said “that’s okay”, was very judgemental about disability and super unhelpful. Disabled changing room was very dated and didn’t feel clean. Changing rooms have no button to get to the disabled room and considering it was my first time there being disabled apparently being complained about too behind my back about not having an access card for the changing room when I wasn’t ever told about it…. Absolutely disgusted by the whole experience
Safe to say this facility has improved so much! Everyone Active should be ashamed of themselves! Before the council took over this place was absolutely disgusting. It used to smell horrific in the changing areas, the showers used to never work, the pool was showing signs on mould and it used to look really dated. Since the Council took over, all these things have improved massively. They have also started putting toilet cleaner down the toilets. If this was still an Everyone Active ran facility. I would of said run for your lifes. But it is so much better. The only thing i would say is that they should improve on keeping the floors a bit cleaner but other then that, the place is really improving. Good job BCP Leisure staff!
