All of our Poole members have access to incredible health facilities including a cardio theatre, spin studio, freestyle floor, free weights, hot yoga studio, sauna, members’ lounge, crèche, and free WiFi.Fitness First Poole also offers a wide range of group exercise classes. Excellent gym - classes are good quality, staff are friendly and helpful, plus it's got an all round good vibe. There is a good range of equipment. Really clean with nice changing facilities . There are some really alternative classes held in the gym, which I really enjoy and it's not overcrowded.
Been a Fitness First member for 20 years and although faces have changed within the staff and members over the years, i have always maintained that the atmosphere is by far the best. Everyone is friendly, staff and members, some of whom have become friends over the years. A special shout out to whoever is in charge of music as the playlists are really good and help motivate you whilst training :-
Have been a member here since it opened 1999 I think! Such a friendly place- not intimidating at all. The members are friendly and the staff are helpful. The facilities are clean and the equipment and classes are varied. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to workout whether it be serious or for fun.
Have been a member at fitness first for just over a year and would not go to any other gym now. Staff are friendly and so are the members, never made to feel uncomfortable. Plenty of good quality equipment, doesn’t ever feel too busy, massive changing rooms and great playlist!
It’s such a brilliant gym. All the staff are so helpful and they have a great choice of gym equipment. I love the classes and the timings of the classes. I would definitely recommend Fitness First Poole.
This gym is FAB! All the equipment is very clean and comfortable. The gym never feels overcrowded and the staff are super. In addition there is plenty of parking too! Overall, very satisfied!

First time I've used this gym, I live in Weymouth & have to travel to use another gym near Bridport to get a Sauna & Steam experience after a workout, however it's being refurbished at the moment so I drove the other way instead. I can't say I'm disappointed, Fitness first is a very good gym with life fitness cardio equipment which is better or if not on par with another well know American brand in my opinion. Staff were very friendly & you can tell the place is well ran. Steam room & Sauna very nice as well. If I lived more locally I'd definitely have a membership. Would use again for sure.
Has gone down hill a lot since I first joined 12 years ago. No crèche anymore, no complimentary teas or coffee, sunbed and jacuzzi gone... It's. Just lost it spark. But on the positive side.. it has the gym equipment... Just not the side extras.....
