My daughter held her Wedding reception at batch Country House - it was terrific! The room was not available to us until the day of the reception as there was a party the previous night, but the team at Batch made another room available the day before for us to deliver the necessary flowers, cake etc and set the room up on the day well. They managed the event well, and ensured that any little snags were dealt with. Weather prevented lots of outside photos, but the pergola building in the garden came in very handy for photo ops. A great time was had by all, with the staff at the bar quick and attentive. Many guests also stayed overnight, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Food for the reception was delivered on time, and hot - very nice meals. Breakfast on the following day was lovely, freshly prepared as guests arrived after a great party the night before. Many thanks to James and the team at Batch Country House for their diligent work.
Lovely place for a wedding. Lots of great places in the gardens for photo opportunities. Function room was great. Staff attentive. We stayed the night in one of the rooms. Good clean pretty accommodation, but bed like a stone slab. Nice breakfast included in price of room. I would recommend place as a really nice place for weddings and functions. Near M5, but in the countryside with no sounds of traffic.
Majestic place. Had a pleasure to visit it for our friends' wedding. I have never been to a better wedding venue! Spacious, well decorated indoors and fabulous outdoors with plenty of green for the little ones to spend their energy. Fountains, pond and abundance of bushes to play hide and seek or admire. Food was delicious and drinks reasonably priced, to top it all off staff was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend for any big family gatherings.
My new husband and I got married here on Friday 30th September 22 and had the best day - despite the weather! Rain is good luck apparently. Abby and the Batch team have been amazing and are a credit to James the owner. Nothing was too much trouble and the day went off without a hitch. The food was super yummy and everyone commented on it. The rooms were perfect for our guests - whether they had children staying or not. We chose Batch based on recommendations and would definitely agree the place is a great venue and the staff are amazing Thanks so much!
Held our wedding here yesterday. We decided on the venue as soon as we saw it. We had Hazel as our coordinator and she was perfect. Every question and query was answered and resolved straight away. Food was fantastic. Bridal suite was amazing. Staff were friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed by using this venue
We would like to thank everyone at Batch Country House for giving us such an amazing wedding day! We highly recommend this venue for weddings! The staff are amazing and friendly. They were so organised and supportive of what we envisioned for our day. The food was incredible and the prices were amazing too. We can't recommend them enough. You don't expect to be able to have such a beautiful and grand event for such a reasonable price and on top of that to have someone coordinate the day too. Everything ran smoothly and the venue itself was immaculate. The house itself set in the middle of the countryside gave us the feeling of being the only people in the world with beautiful views and gardens. It was like a dream! We want to give a special thanks to Abbie, who coordinated our day, gave us recommendations on how to organise the day and set up our centre pieces and favours just right. Our day would not have been as perfect if it wasn't for this lady. So thank you Abbie we really appreciate it and will remember you forever. So if you're looking for somewhere for your wedding you should definitely consider Batch Country House. We wish we could do it all over again. Thank you all for an incredible day!
My daughters wedding was great. And also my friends. Staff so good and friendly. Would recommend this place in anyone. Also had great mothers day. Good value for money. Thank you Rooms: 5/5
Taff and I had our wedding here yesterday, we had such an amazing day thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Hazel, she made us feel like family, from start to finish everything was perfect down to emergency glue to mend a broken finger nail to the amazing food. The service was pesonal and attentive the whole day, not just to us as a couple but to all our family and friends who were part of our very special day. The venue, staff and service was impeccable and we would highly recommend for any type of celebration. 5 's from us
My nephew has just held his wedding, the reception and evening do at The Batch. Everything was fantastic, including the bedrooms and the breakfast. The interior of the house was very nicely decorated for the event and the gardens are very well laid out and made a perfect backdrop for the photos. Would highly recommend this venue to any couple who were looking at The Batch their wedding.
Visited as a guest at a 50th anniversary party. From arrival the staff were brilliant. Friendly and hard working. The food was tasty and plentiful. A lovely room. A great evening had by all.
