Loved our visit. The owners son Ollie, was a real character. His manner came across quite abrupt initially but then you realise he really is a nice guy with plenty of entertaining stories. Food was how pub should be done and the pub is very clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Nice place we stayed here mostly because of the dog it's one of the few places in the area that takes dogs The room was nice it was clean and tidy and the bathroom was also very clean We stayed in the hotel for two nights and while we were there ate at the hotel for breakfast and tea the food was first class at a good price so no complaints from me breakfast was good but as we had a dog who is a bit of a worrier about being alone we had to eat in the bar not a problem for me but I am sure someone would moan

Lovely country pub that's dog friendly...we were extremely happy with our gorgeous food and had a cosy chat/drink with the owner. Will be back for lunch again!!

The place was nice but owners were very off the son was very unpleasant. Was dog friendly that's why we booked but soon as we arrived one of their dogs attacks ours as we walk into the bar to introduce yourself. Wouldn't go back
