A very special time spent with a particularly fine and charming hostess, Patricia. In a delightful Georgian House originally owned by the renowned Fry family, set in a lovely position with attractive garden and country outlook and within minutes of the centre of the historic Axminster town square while enjoying very easy access to all the various amenities in the surrounding areas. Excellent accommodation and an outstanding home-cooked breakfast is just part of the many delights you may be sure you will experience at Compton House.

Patricia is an amazing host, nothing is too much trouble for her. The house is amazing, old with loads of character. Rustic in places but this just adds to the character of the property.nOur bed was very comfortable, we had a great nights sleep.
