Great service, friendly staff, nice location. Nice room, but bath was too narrow. Breakfast was not great, since premier inn have taken the buffet style away, it's not worth the price. The eggs are fried not scrambled. Need to revisit this. Top up of buffet foods needs to be more regular. You're better off sticking to continental and finding elsewhere for a cooked breakfast.
I got booked in by the company I work for, twice within a week. Both times, pleasant welcome, friendly staff. The food was very nice, the service was also very good, in fact, the two lads and the young waitress were very helpful on every time I was there. Didn’t wait long for my food to turn up either. Again, made to feel welcome. The room I was in, I must say, I was hot, but that was more down to the weather being so extreme, the air con can only do so much. Will be having a full breakfast tomorrow before I say goodbye to the place.
Didn't stay here overnight, just went in for breakfast. We had booked in as a large party 34 and though they knew that, there were no plates to put your food on, no teabags, no butter and had to wait ages before they took our order. When the food came to the tables they were wrong on virtually everyone's order. For the £10 it costs, its nowhere near good value and rather a pretty dismal event. I'd recommend you choose somewhere else.
The staff in the restaurant and bar were very helpful. Food was ok. The restaurant and bar area in serious need of refurbishment. As for the premier inn room and reception area this was updated the room was perfect along with disabled parking outside. Would consider going again as a stop off to Bristol airport.
Early evening meal for four , had buy one get one free vouchers, glad we did as we wouldn't have wanted to pay full price for such poor food. It would have been more edible if it was hot. Will not be returning.Service: 2/5
Breakfast staff excellent, very kind happy and bright... All good............ I wouldn't pre book breakfast again as it is cheaper to book on the spot this is not good, at least make it the same. Very comfortable base,would fully recommend..........
Didn't realise until we arrived that it is more or less on the doorstep of the Cheddar Gorge and near Glastonbury. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great.Rooms: 5/5
Amazing experience in an old cottage.Renovated rooms with all the modern necessities and the rooms are frankly huge.Friendly and helpful staff.Buffet has numerous options either classic UK foods or international menus.Highly recommended!!Rooms: 5/5
We have been to this hotel they 3 times and the staff are a credit to the hotel always Very good
