Great hotel, lovely room (we were in the attic room) spacious, clean and comfortable. Food great, if a little expensive. The owner and his staff were brilliant and the service was second to none. Would definitely recommend to use as central base when visiting this part of Somerset.

Lovely small hotel. Rooms were very comfortable.  Meal was excellent.  All in all a nice short break in a very pretty area.

Stayed at The Oak House while away with work. Had a really lovely time there and will definitely be staying again when I'm in the area on business. The food was the highlight. Dinner was fantastic, lovely steak and a good wine menu along with a good selection of gins, local ale and craft beers. My room was a little small and initially cold but the bed was plenty comfortable enough for the night. Breakfast was really good too and it was so refreshing to see a hotel freshly grinding good quality beans for the guests coffee at breakfast rather than the usual terrible excuse for coffee.

We only stopped for a drink and it was very quiet. Nice cosy bar area and dog friendly.

We went for a family afternoon tea to celebrate our grandmothers 100th birthday. The youngest was 10 years all dietary needs were catered for. Pleasant staff pleasant atmosphere and wonderful food.
