Story

From the 1st of May 2015 we, Matthew Otley and Gabrielle Stacey took on the lease of The Otley Arms.

Wanting to put our own stamp on it, we closed for 11 days... cleaned it up, made it shiny and new...and the rest is yet to come...pop in and see what we've done with the place :)

We also have the best selection of Craft Beer and Real Ales locally.... we do great food, great wine and a cracking Sunday Lunch.

We also have band nights regular and hold Beer and Cider festivals, the most famous of which being Oct-O-Bar fest.

A very nice modern pub. It was our first time visiting here and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. There is a very large choice of beers/ales and wines to choose from. Five of us had the Sunday lunch which was very tasty and of a high quality. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially considering we arrived about 45 minutes late. If we lived closer we would certainly become regulars.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Sunday lunch was absolutely lovely. There was a great selection behind the bar, with something for everyone. The cask ales were well kept and the bar staff pulled an excellent pint. I would definitely recommend The Otley, but be sure to book for Sunday lunch, as they get busy.

Despite the Otley brewery closing down and the lack of Otley ales now, this place still stocks an impressive array of first ales (both local and international) and have friendly, knowledgeable staff to help you pick a great beer!

Absolutely love the ale here but bar staff are very rude and u can wait Adleast 15-20 minutes to get served, either on their phones or chatting. Don't matter how quiet or busy. I went last Saturday and barman said il be right with you. No lie I stood by the bar next to a young lady and gent for minimum 20 minutes, wen the lady walked around the bar and asked me what I'd like and tried serving me my reply was not a polite one..f. Y. I. I am a local and have been going here off and on for around 22yrs

Excellent value, beautiful dinner, desserts. The staff could do with a little more enthusiasm when serving customers (I appreciate very busy but a smile goes a long way), that said the manager makes up for it with his friendliness. Hasn't put me off returning.
