Really like the ambience here. Very popular among tourists and students. My favourite order is the London Fog! I also like their mini nibbles allowing you to eat more than one type of cake!

One of the best coffee shops in York. Brilliant location, set in one of the towers that make up the Bar Walls. The staff are always friendly, and I've never seen it empty yet. There's a couple of roof terraces that are accessed via a spiral staircase. Well worth a visit.

A welcome rest walking York's walls. Really good coffee, nice cake, lovely outdoor seating for a nice day. Try the rooftop patio. I look forward to my next visit.

Very reasonably priced and a great pit stop for walking the city walls. There are plenty of seating opportunities inside and out which will give you a unique view of the city. Very good vegan options - even having vegan cheese on their paninis! They only have paninis as food options and a few cakes, so not a big selection but perfect for a short stop to rest your legs and enjoy a coffee.

Very interesting location, nice walk along the wall to get there too, good coffee of food and drink, lots of friendly staff so service is really good
