The food was generous - I was half full by the starter veg puree. Main dishes went well with rice. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: They have two-page menu and one face is vegetarian options - so we have plenty of choices.
Our 1st time here at one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Nottingham - and why did we leave it so long....?!? From a very friendly greeting from Bash & Sam to a lovely send off, this was a thoroughly enjoyable meal & visit. Food was to die for, the chicken puri is huge & so delicious, i forgot to photographit..!. I had the patro chicken apparently the only place in UK serving it for something different - wow! Fabulous dish, I had it Madras strength but can be spiced to the heat you want it. We'll definitely be back to try the Peru specials!!. Take away & delivery available too. Many thanks
Rogan Josh was to die for! Went here for date night as tried every other Indian restaurant and takeaway in the Nottingham area and this place beats them all. We was greeted at the door and shown to a table where we was served with popadoms whilst we waited for our food. The service was AMAZING and felt like the most welcome atmosphere in Nottingham. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE as it’s authentic food where as a lot of other places are fake googled recipe and use food colouring.
Fantastic first visit to this lovely restaurant, Sam was so welcoming instantly putting you at ease, and was super friendly and chatty. The food was delicious and served piping hot and was plentiful. Wow is all I can say. I had seen some good reviews so I thought I would give The Balti House a try. The best Indian meal I have had for years. Chicken Puri was amazing fluffy bread and well spiced and flavoured chicken, the main meal was equally as good. Kema nann was well cooked with just the right amount of spice. The host was fantastic really friendly and chatty. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nottingham.
We were the first customers of the evening due to going to a show at Motorpoint Arena. We were warmly welcomed despite how cold it was the restaurant soon warmed up. The food, service was lovely . We highly recommend and if we didn't live so far away in Stoke would be regular customers. Thank you for making us so welcome Food: 4/5
A friend recommended this place to me years ago and I never made it there. Now they deliver via ubereats I had to get involved. Wow, simply amazing food. Onion bhaji was delicious and crispy, not the soggy mush you often get. The naans were generous and dry, by dry I mean good, not swimming in grease. I have never had a "creamy" rogan josh, but as the RJ is my standard measure of curry quality, my International standard Kilo if you will, I had to have it. I'm still trying to pick up the pieces of my expectations as they were completely blown away. Thank you Balti house for excellent food and exceeding my already high expectations.
Even though it was a quiet Monday night, we had a great time visiting the Balti House Nottingham. A superb host Sam, with superb food. I could have licked the plate clean. I will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
