Outstanding price-to-value ratio! We had been planning to come here for a long time before we finally popped in on a Friday evening. Thankfully there were a few tables without reservation so we sat down by the window. Staff were speedy and accomodating. Food was utterly delicious. If you are after genuine spicy food, Dosa And Chutney is the must-go place. We will definitely return here in future as the restaurant has a wide arrange of meals and we are eager to enjoy as many of their dishes as possible! Vegetarian options: Kadai Paneer
Located in the city centre, so it's good spot for eating after/before your shopping, you can sit next to the window and enjoy the city views. Im not very familiar with Indian cuisine, but the waitress was very patient with me and assisted me in choosing what to eat and explained the different tastes and flavors in the dishes I was interested in trying , which made things easy and smooth. The food was 10/10 , fresh, looked and tasted delicious.
We arrived for the UNLIMITED breakfast buffet at 11:45 AM, only to find ourselves the first customers. The buffet included idly, mini poori, vada, Pongal, kesari, rava upma, and just one dosa, served with coffee or tea. Unfortunately, only the idly and sambar were fresh and tasty. Other items, Pongal, kesari, chana masala, and both chutneys lacked flavor and seemed old. We even found small stones in the rava upma. On the bright side, Shruthi provided excellent service, but the guy in reception near the bill counter was quite rude. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for a satisfying South Indian breakfast.
Overall very good. Portions slightly small. But this is compensated by the great fresh ingredients. Decor needs freshening up plus the large windows that make up for the shop front would benefit from a clean. Atmosphere is ambient. Service is very good. The manager is very professional. And was fully aware of nut allergies I will visit again next time I am in Nottingham to experience the Dosa.
Always have had great time & food here, for about 3 years now. The service ever improving, and always felt welcomed. The taste too consistent and good. Value for money. Buffet are ideal go to if you crave for proper S.Indian meal.Food: 5/5
Decor> I think they can do better with the sitting arrangements. I place looks a bit bland due to the sitting arrangements. Menu> they can make set meals and improvise the menu with food pictures on it so that it's more convenient for people who are not familiar with this food. Food> I went their to break my fast, so I was famished. We tired Chicken Tikka biriyani, according to the price point they could have made it with basmati rice. Flavours was top notch though & the chicken was juicy. 4/5. A must try. Chicken lollipop> 5/5. Give more effort on plating please Dosa with lamb curry> it was really nice. The lamb was a bit hard though, but the flavour of the gravy was yummy. 4.5/5.
Nice Indian restaurant that situated above the specsavers so hopefully you don’t find climbing few steps upstairs! Service is smooth. Dosa is top notch. Think they just started doing unlimited lunch buffet menu which is 14.99 per person only Tuesday to Friday from 1200 till 1445 which is a nice bargain! You’ve to pay the bills at the counter before you leave. For some reason, they pumped up the prices of the some dishes on justeat app so I stopped ordering from them as takeaway.
Delicious food and great value for money! Our server was very attentive and friendly, and advised us on gluten free dishes. I had the paneer dosa and my friends had the chicken curry and breads. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!
It was really good and awesome... The service is also excellent. The wash and the hand washing area is not so hygienic and felt bad odour. They can spend a little to maintain that area as well. For food I will recommend the restaurant for sure. Food: 4/5
The place to taste wonderful delicious food is Dosa and Chutney. I had been visiting this place couple of times , such a nice and respectful staff service . The organized atmosphere and healthy ambience are too good. The taste of food is top notch. I advice to just visit once with your friends and iam sure you will be visit again and again.
