Authentic cuisine created and inspired by chefs genuinely passionate about the food they serve, 4550 has managed to create a place that is comfortable and relaxed without losing any of the vibrancy associated with the hustle and bustle of every day life in Delhi. And with the open plan kitchen, a little Delhi theatre has been transported to the heart of Nottingham.
16th Century Delhi was an inspirational time in Indian culture and in particular for cuisine with radical new forms of cooking being devised by the chefs of the Imperial food courts. Given a free reign to bewitch and enthral, Dum Pukht, better known as 'food of the kings' was created and it is from these origins that 4550 Miles from Delhi takes its inspiration.
