Visited today with my 83 yo mum who's partially sighted. Noted there were no baskets at the main entrance. I asked a girl who was stocking shelves where they were, only to be told they were by the tills by the exit. I said that it wasn't much good there when they were needed at the main entrance. She walked up behind us, said okay very loudly and walked off. Didn't offer to help in anyway. I was clearly guiding someone nearly blind. I'll not shop at this store ever again. If you can't be nice to people, don't work in retail.
Got what we went for. However please remind your staff that when serving customers that it is considered polite to pay attention to them and not have a conversation in a foreign language with the person in the queue behind. It was extremely rude and we were not impressed.
Multi purpose home store close to the train station. Stocking a large variety of named brand products at well below the recommended retail price! Unlike similar stores you do not have to buy in bulk. There is also free parking and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. Definitely worth a visit, whether to purchase or simply browse on a Sunday afternoon.
The variety is everything you’d think, you might even be able to find something for everyone for Christmas in one shop here! The aisles are nice and wide for mobility which is great when I visit in my big mobility scooter. Staff are always helpful but do struggle sometimes if the shop is busy
Please remind your staff about the importance of stock rotation. I bought a cookies and cream cake today only to get home and see the expiry date was 31/07/25. We are now 11/09/25.
