A peaceful memorial for the over 100,000 Australians who died in the two world wars, almost in the shadow of Wellington Arch. If you are looking for it to examine it more closely, it is located on the southern side nearer Buckingham Palace of this large roundabout.

We sat here for an hour at 7am in the morning and it was so peaceful and bright. We would definitely return to sit here again

The Australian War Memorial on London is a stunning tribute to Aussies so far from home. The memorial was beautifully laid out with so much attention to detail. To find out that the stone was actually imported from Perth, WA makes it even more special.

Stunning tribute to all people who taken part at the battles.

The design is very nice and the way they wrote the name is very creative!

Pride of place in memory of the  great Australian sacrifice. Well worth a visit to pay your respects. A striking but understated monument in a very busy part of London.

Amazing design on this moving memorial unfortunately surrounded by busy London traffic. The names of famous battles fought by the Aussies are picked out on the names of the fallen.
