Very poor experience due to store managementnnYesterday, Argos online customer service told me to get an inspection and reference number from Apple and assured me that the issue would be resolved in-store. I followed this advice and went today to the Argos inside Sainsbury’s at Grove Farm Triangle.nnUnfortunately, the experience with Darren, the store manager, was extremely disappointing. In my experience, he was dismissive and uncooperative, and refused to even look at screenshots showing I had been instructed to attend the store. He stated that he could “overrule customer service” and refused the return solely because the factory seal had been opened, despite the watch being unused and checked by Apple.nnI also asked whether the £50 lower online price could be acknowledged to resolve the situation, which was immediately refused without discussion.nnOverall, this left me feeling there was no interest in helping or finding a reasonable solution. I would strongly advise caution when relying on online customer service advice, as it does not appear to be respected in-store.nnNever spending a penny at argos ever again!
I'd just like to say how brilliant Rajan was today when I was struggling to use my lifestyle gift card. He was extremely helpful, patient and understanding. He explained how i needed to do it to use it. Brilliant service.
I went to return the damage item but there General Manager, as he red shirt person said, he is general manager, which i doubt after this customer services. He refused to take return item. This type of peoples destroys customer services of big company. Another Lady there said two AA batteries wrap is opened so can't return. Never go to Argos, better to go currys atleast to get better services post buying. I was using Argos since 5 years never return a single item, this was first time and they showed their services. Would not recommend to go This Argos please.
I went to order an electric blanket with an elderly at agros, she’s very disappointed the paper catalogs / books no longer available, she found it impossible to use the screen to search and order. Most of the electric blankets were out of stock, probably not agros’ problem, as the energy crisis, everybody wants to get one!!!nnService was really slow, considering only about 5 people were waiting. Staff was ok, but we didn’t feel welcome or had any kind of help or support.nnPositive points was the Argos area was very clean, waiting area with seats.nnAs agros is in Sainsbury’s, there are plenty of car parking spaces including disabled parking spaces and parents with children ones.
Don't buy from them. It's 2025 and their technology is still underdeveloped. I went to pick up the product I bought and they asked me for an Argos card. I couldn't get the product I paid for because of the Argos card. I drove 40 minutes and came back empty-handed. It's a truly disgusting place and the staff are not very helpful.
