Appalling service from manager!! other staff very polite. On returning my faulty product that was in the time of argos return policy I was refused by manager saying their was nothing wrong with product which I had explained the fault.i was then told I needed ref no. from manufacturers . I then returned the same day with ref no. from and receipt needed for full refund but the manager still refused my request she then proceeded to phone manufacturer to query the decision she was told by them the customer was entitled to to full refund. This conversation took place in store within earshot and on loud speaker on her phone in front of other customers..Amazingly I went to another local Argos that gave me a full refund with no questions asked only needed ref number!!.
Storm the manager here is very unhelpful and she esculates bad encounters with customers rather than trying to resolve the issue. She literally walked off whilst trying to deal with me. Staff on the other hand are as helpful as they can be with a manager like that. Absolutely disgusting service I won't be using this argos again.
I visited the store on the advice of an online support agent regarding the repair of a faulty phone. At the store the staff were very friendly, professional and knew what they were doing. I dealt with two polite young ladies who helped me with my issue. There was a bit of a problem as we couldn't find any of my details so I made a trip home to acquire the details they needed and returned. When I returned the girl I'm sorry I don't know your name I couldn't see a name tag dealt with my issue perfectly and I'm completely satisfied with the service. I'd just like to give a shout out to that young lady and Becky for being so helpful, thank you!
Go here, not the awful Castlepoint Sainsbury concession one. Proper Argos store with actual stock, and friendly staff who actually have some grasp of their own refund and return policy. Faulty laptop exchanged without a fuss. You can actually go in and buy things instead of only having click and collect. I really wish if Argos would stop this insistence on these in store concessions - some can't do any aftersales at all Christchurch, others appear to have no idea how or when to do it Castlepoint. Thank god there is one proper store left round here.
After getting lots of help from a very pleasant young man. I ended up leaving my debit card in the machine, I didn't notice until I'd gone to pay in another store, thankfully when I drove back the staff already had it. So yes I'm happy to recommend this particular store. Thank you Argos.
Popped in last week to get a tv. Not knowing much about freeview and freesat and what the difference is i asked for some help. The lady who helped me was fantastic and gave some great advice. The information given was different from what the ‘expert’ at PC World gave, but she was correct, not PC World!!! Excellent service, very helpful. Thank you

They had exactly what I wanted, and accepted a return without question That's not all. I was served not by a mere person but by a goddess, I'm convinced.
I am shopping more and more with argos and not only small items. I recently spent over £500 on electronic items a Ps4 Pro a lenovo tablet. They price match against others and I can use some of the vouchers I get occasionally. Really good experience. Well done argos.
Gutted, today I had to carry a heavy bag containing 6 sauce pans a sandwich maker and bigger items etc as the manager needed the assistant to stand by collections yet I have a large hole in my heart and serve hypertension and I wear and carry a Oxygeyn cylinder so it's visible, I did ask to kindly carry it to my transport which was just near there entrwnce and that's the response I got, I could of easier gone into heart failure but thankfully didn't but I struggled and painted for over half an hour, horrible experience
