Brilliant service!!! Me and my partner purchased a BMW 1 Series from them, Couldn't fault them or the car in anyway. The car was presented lovely considering we didn't make a appointment we just turned up the car was clean and very well presented. Arranging to collection of the car was great, the admin team even phoned and offered to tax the car for us. When we arrived to collect the car it was gleaming. Really couldn't fault them Malcolm was great, and Wayne was great as well. Thank you once again!!

I bought a car recently from this dealership. The car was well presented and customer service was of a high standard. The day after buying it I noticed the steering wheel wasn’t straight and a screen was not working correctly on the dashboard. I brought the car back and the problems were quickly repaired with genuine parts, at no extra cost. I would recommend Lamwell to anyone who is looking for a quality second hand car.

Travelled 250 miles to purchase an S type jaguar from lamwell motors I was very pleased with the car and the service received. I did have a couple of issues with the car that were sorted out promptly and hassle free I don't recommend companies freely, but anyone looking for a quality second hand car I would definitely recommend lamwell motors

Initial Thoughts and impressions were good, friendly staff, nice cars, seemed professional enough. Then the problems started: 1) I was told there would be two keys for the car i chose - there was not, i only found this out when i had fully paid and was about to drive the car off of the lot. I confronted the Dealer and told him i was missing the second key, at this point he told me he never told me there were two keys and i misunderstood. ( I always ask if there are two keys - without fail) So this cost me £155.22 to get a new key.. 2) I was told i would get £350 for my part exchange, i was ok with this and came back the next day to pay, it was at this point he told me he has had second thoughts and decided to only pay me £300 for my car... As you can expect i was not pleased.. turning up on the day to pay.. 3) The "full" service they provide before you drive the car away involved checking the rear brakes and the oil. Even though i am certain he explained to me that filters would be replaced. which is what i would expect. (Discovered this months after purchase when i discovered the air filter was ridiculously filthy) In the end i did buy it and drove it away happy but a little annoyed at these things. But at that stage i was not sure what i could do, i had paid signed for it and all. Now i have owned the car for 5 months: Problems: 1) The rear lights started faulting, they would stop working and require wiggling to get them to work again. Before i got it checked out by a mechanic I changed all the bulbs just in case. I checked the fittings but still the problem persisted. So in the end i took it to a garage to get fixed. 2) Car went into Limp mode and the check engine light came on. I called warranty and took it into Halfords (Their approved garage). I had to pay £50 for diagnostic fees (not covered under warranty). It turns out the Glow plugs need replacing (Also not covered under warranty) and halfords broke the news it would cost me £380 for them to replace the glow plugs... of course i declined that and put it into another garage of my choice where it only cost me £70... I understand its a used car but spending near £7000 on a car you do expect better treatment. Just don't trust what they say up front without checking everything yourself first. (Keys, Part exchange price, What is covered under warranty, what their service actually includes) These were the main issues i had with them. Only reason this is not a 1 star review is that i do actually like my car. If Lamwell see this and think they can make me a happy customer please respond to my review and I will make contact with you. Until then I have and will continue not to recommend to anyone.
