During my recent visit to the store, I conducted a thorough examination of the iPhone in order to make an informed purchasing decision. I am cognizant of the upcoming Apple event scheduled for next Monday, which may potentially unveil a new iPhone model. Regrettably, none of the staff members present during my visit offered any assistance or inquired about my needs while I was examining the iPhone. It appeared as though I was not visible to them. Although there was an individual present on the other side of the table, I suspect that their lack of engagement may have been due to my use of an Android phone to compare the camera zoom capabilities between my current device and the iPhone.
Had to visit the Apple Touchwood shop and the Touchwood Centre Solihull after one of my Apple products failed.nThe appointment was made online following a few calls to rectify my issue over the phone.nWhen I arrived the staff were very friendly yet professional. They ended up keeping my device for 1 and a half hours while they reinstalled the operating system. They were fabulous, they completed the work and there was no charge.nCan’t thank them enough.nThe Touchwood Centre is a very pleasant shopping Centre, it’s clean and very well set out. The Apple Touchwood shop is a large open plan store with lots of mobile devices on show for customers to pick up and scroll through.nAs previously mentioned, the staff are really friendly and there are at least 10 members of staff so you shouldn’t be waiting too long I believe there’s an appointment system, I would also recommend booking before you handnThere is plenty of parking in a couple of underground car parks that are accessible via escalators and lifts. These car parks get busy at peak times and weekends. Parking fees aren’t too bad either.
Not particularly impressed with the customer service in this store.nI attended the store to exchange a recently purchased watch.nThe salesperson first unpaired my watch and after that told me the watch I wanted was not available, surely that should have been done in the reverse order ? The salesperson then handed me over to a second salesperson as they had to go on a lunch break. The second salesperson didn’t really give me a good chance to try on the straps available, instead opened a tablet told me to choose the one I wanted and then let me try that one on. It was a very rushed experienced and I am truly disappointed with the entire experience. When I told the second salesperson he was rushing me it all became awkward.nAnyway probably wouldn’t come back to this branch, best stick with the Birmingham branch, much better customer service.
Booked an appointment online, seen quickly after arriving at the store, had a good chat with the staff about different products etc. Phone was fixed and returned good as new within an hour. Excellent service!
Some minor issues with the online appointment system and a call to the customer service team before we attended but once we arrived we were well looked after by the staff in store. John was absolutely brilliant, excellent customer service
