Nice place, I thought it was very clean and cozy. Not upscale, not terribly pretty, but a good place with its own character. Definitely worth a stay!

Location is great for the Kingston area. 10 minute walk into town center, 2 minutes from the Uni, 15 minute walk to Surbiton station which is only a 20 minute train ride from Central. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the Thames is nice to walk along. Closest Tourist Attraction is Hampton Court Palace which is nice and walkable distance. Rooms are small but comfy. Nice beds, but the rooms themselves are minimal. The bathrooms only supply a combined shampoo and shower gel so if you need something more make sure you bring it or buy it nearby. Besides being minimal it is very clean and definitely worth the money. If you get the main building, there is a lift. But while there isn't one in the garden view building, they have very nice balconies. Service is always great. I've stayed here three times over the last five years including a long term stay when I came over for Uni and was looking for a Flat. The breakfast is phenomenal and the staff is always very helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Definitely a great place to stay in southwest London.

Clean and friendly. Staff pay attention to detail. Did find some areas with dust....on top of door frames etc. Mentioned it to what seemed a duty manager and he said he would deal with it and he did. Good beer and usual London prices. Car park free of litter. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Attended for a VSO training day. Lunch was a good buffet and rooms clean and spacious with plenty of coffee. Thermostat was a bit odd. Some rooms were freezing and others really hot
