Attended for a wedding. There is a ramp for wheelchair/buggy access. Unfortunately, the hotel is covered with scaffolding. Parking isn't great. Pay on the street parking or £35 via hotel for the day!nTimings for the wedding was tight with no room for flexibility.nStaff were pleasant enough and professional....at times slow responding to requests.nnThis hotel has an old look inside, but it is clean and well kept and still passable for such an event.nThe food served looked delicious and well presented but on taste....it lacked a little.nnOverall, it was a good experience!
Great location to explore Kingston and only a 5minute walk from the train station.nWe stayed in a balcony room which had a Lovely walk in shower. The hotel has a modern welcoming feel. Staff lovely and helpful and We Enjoyed our warm cookies from reception. A very comfortable stay.nAnother coffee machine at breakfast would be good as we did have to spend time queuing for the machine and then waiting for it to ‘warm up’.
Hotel only inform about renovation after booking was confirmed. Other than good location, the rest was rather disappointing. No signage outside the hotel, had to search for entrance for first timers. Room was small, no view whatsoever due to renovation. No bottled water was provided in room and had to go to front desk to enquire. No bedroom slippers provided as well. Paid about £675, definitely not worth it for the experience.n*update* front desk staff was very helpful to change the room to a quieter wing minus the construction.
Lovely girls at the reception. Room: simple but clean,A/C works very quietly. Bed comfy but pillows very thin not supportive. Bring your own. Room is very quiet at night only you can hear noise when early morning your neighbour using shower, but not too cloud, only if you are like me, a sensitive sleeper. Excellent location, only parking is such a pain. Nearby 24h Bentall car park not allowed overnight parking apparently. Downside for now: The hotel is dong facade decoration, which they had to start drilling and banging at 8:20am. So sleep early! I dont understand why can’t they start later.
From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help – creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout.nnThe hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to central London and convenient local amenities. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable – ideal for both work and rest.nnA special shoutout to Gabrielu, who went above and beyond to accommodate my room request despite the hotel being at high occupancy. Her professionalism and dedication truly made a difference, and I deeply appreciated her efforts to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.nnDoubleTree Kingston continues to be my preferred choice, and I look forward to staying here again on future visits.
