The breakfast is very nice. Good service also. Walking distance to Kingston Mall area a plus. Rooms are dated, but clean. The bed is not good at all.
Everything about here is A plus....the rooms are spotless and newer, the restaurant is great with options for all diets, including vegetarians, great location near public transportation, shopping centers, restaurants and long beautiful walking along the Thames. The front desk was so helpful and kind, be sure to ask them for help with the public transportation options and how to get to LHR, they are a great resource. An adorable little Library of books, so charming. Great place to watch sports on the TV, to sit and lounge while figuring out your day. Fairly priced everything. Everything about here was top notch. My London happy place, thank you so much. Very safe too!
Amazing hotel, rooms, staff, breakfast and overall energy!nI come here at least twice a week and always greeted by Ben and Kenje with a beautiful smile! Ben is a ball of joy and radiates such positive energy no matter the time of day. He’s a ray of sunshine early in the morning for the amazing breakfast at 7am!
This property is very well situated about a block and a half from the Thames, easily walkable to the rail station and bus stops adjacent to the Bentall Centre mall. It looks fresh and clean and the front desk staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The breakfast had many food options and Ben was cheerful and hard working taking care of breakfast diners.nThe evening menu is simple. The fries and salad were fine but the pizza crust seemed like a frozen grocery store crust.nThe rooms are well appointed and the bathroom is large and nice. The master light switch for the room is odd as it can move to the bedside switch and then the bathroom upper light may not come on. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest choosing a room in the higher numbers for the floor to avoid a little noise from the rail tracks, and the bed springs are a little bit noisy as well. Otherwise all should be great for a good stay.
Have stayed at the hotel several times. The location is fabulous and the rooms nice and clean.nThe disappointing feature is the restaurant pitched as a good quality venue but far from it. The food is OK but the vibe is dreadful. Had 2 very bad experiences one involved an evening where numerous conference participants spilled into the restaurant for a booze up. Felt like dining in a noisy pub. The second started well but the staff sat a family with 3 children under 7 next to me despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. Impossible to enjoy my main with a drink. Could have been in McDonalds. Never again will dine outside the hotel.
