The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was a lot of dirt and stains - some very recent - on the wall by the bin. No bedside table or lamp. The room was only just bigger than the bed and smelt of cigarettes. It's next-door to a pub and doesn't have a name on it making it hard to find in a one way street. The bathroom is really really small and I couldn't fill the kettle up from the tap as the sink is so small. On the plus side the shower was hot!
For price, cleanliness and location, excellent. However, the walls are a little thin. Furthermore, the maintenance man who burst into my room without knocking with his nosey cohort straining to catch a glimpse of whatever, was most rude. Not how it's done!Rooms: 2/5
Terrible place! They put the "B" in budget.
Only stay here if you are desperate. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling, the floor was sticky, the bathroom so tiny you can't move, no space for even a toothbrush, the hotel smelled damp, TV remote didn't work , felt grotty and most definitely overpriced for what you get. On a positive, there was parking available and the bed was ok, clean sheets, towels, kettle, tea and coffee provided , walking distance to centre of town but definitely the worst place I have ever stayed.
It is what it is!! Cheap and cheerful. Only see the owner when we turned up.. room was ok . Tiny tiny bathroom but the water was hot. You get what you pay for and it was a bed for the nightRooms: 3/5
If I could give zero or minus one I would. I wouldn’t kennel a dog here. Over £50 for a dosshouse room that isn’t worth £20. Paid less for marginally better in London. To brush your teeth you are leaning over the toilet. When sitting in the toilet your shoulder is against a tiny wash basin and your feet are in the shower. The bed is what I used to sleep on as a student. I travel a lot and this is the 2nd worst room I have ever stayed in the worst was in New York. Worse even than the Navy Men’s club. Internet doesn’t work no internet connection message on the phone. The bedside lamps had the bulbs removed. The window won’t close. The sliding door to the shower room hits the tiny cupboard. TV remote isn’t properly synched with the TV. Carpet was left over from the 70s and smells of cigarettes. On the plus side it was clean.
I tried to hide the key so we could sleep in the carRooms: 1/5
Dirty, hard to find, full of black mold, doors hanging off. Absolutely awful night's sleep there. Pay extra and go elsewhere
Worse place I have ever stayed Overpriced damp Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else!Rooms: 1/5
Awful place to stay. Hosts are really noisy even at 2 in the morning on a Thursday
