Hollywood Bowl in Worthing is a pleasant spot! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly. Staff were really pleasant.nnBased on this trip, it's 3 stars.nnBowling alley was empty when we arrived. First bowl down the alley, and the system failed. This happened for 15 minutes. Was laughable but annoying.nnWe paid for 2 games and a drink. We left halfway through the second game. As time was running out.nnWill return again to see if this improves.
We had a great time, my wife struggles with mobility but the venue was well catered for her disability.nnThe manager was polite and professional and very helpful, a true gentleman.nnKaren was working the main desk, lanes AND the drinks bar, that's a lady who's a pro at her job.nnThe lanes are well lit and the system can raise bumpers for individual players wife beat me by 2 points.nnPhone signal was low but that's to be expected in its location.nnThe venue sports multiple arcade games wich can rival nearby arcades.nnTLDR:we had a great time and would have stayed for another game if it wasn't for another engagement.
We went on father's day so it was very busy and very loud but the bowling was good. It's exactly what you want. Liked it but no wow factor.
I take great joy in confirming that Worthing Hollywood Bowl has had a full refurbishment and it once again a great place to take the family. Previously the place was falling to bits with very little working, the new bar and food very nice too! Great work to all the staff too! Keep up to the good work.
