Disappointing and sad to see members of staff so unhappy at Gravesend, particular members of staff that are extremely hard working and very friendly and have a fantastic relationship with the league bowlers like myself. Very frustrating to see brilliant members of staff handing in notice due to the poor management and gruelling unfair work schedules. My advise as a successful business owner would be keep your staff happy! Be fair with the workload and working rota and let’s see the management actually on the floor helping instead of hiding in the office constantly especially when it’s so busy. Very angry that we are loosing the hardest working staff, you will be lucky to get replacement staff that are as hardworking and give the level of service we currently enjoy as league bowlers. Keep your best staff! They shouldn’t be handing in notice they should be getting a pay rise!

AMF Bowling at Gravesend is very bad. It is freezing cold inside all the time so we have to keep our coats on. The lanes keep breaking down and there are so few staff you have to wait ages for help. There is always a long queue for hot drinks which are warm at best. I would not recommend AMF Bowling Gravesend to anyone.

Like hanging out down here with the boys we patrol the lanes and don't take no guff from nobody. Bowl em up bowl em down that's what you've got to do here no messing around

Great bowling facilities but the ladies toilets were disgusting. I complained about the smell that hits you the minute the door is opened to a member of staff but they just said Yes, it's the drains. Our lane was opposite the toilets therefore we had the stink the whole time we were there.

First stop was the loo. This ruined my whole experiece as the smell instantly rendered me nauseous for the rest of my time. I have never known a womans toilet to smell so strongly of old urine it made my eyes water! Won't be going back
