This is one of those 'set your expectations’ moments. If you go expecting the sort of facilities you'd get in a sports centre in a city, or even a larger town, you are going to be disappointed. However, if you go expecting something about right for a very small village in the middle of the Outer Hebrides then you are in for a pleasant surprise. We went for the bowling, which was great fun. There are two lanes right next to each other and that worked well for us as a largish group, split across the lanes. Once you are in to the bowling area you are left pretty much to your own devices unless you need anything. As well as the bowling lanes there is a decent multipurpose games hall, suitable for five aside football and the like. You can buy snacks and hot and cold drinks in reception.  There is an upstairs area, but I'm not sure what was up there as we didn't go up there. The staff were friendly and helpful, and one of them even (coincidentally I'm sure) made us feel at home by wearing Ross County shorts ('mon the Staggies!).  There is even an EV charging point in the car park, something a lot of mainland facilities could learn from

Good wee sport centre, loads to do for all ages, and friendly staff.

Lovely time at Sporsnip with the kids. A 10 pin bowling ally, basketball, football, bouncy Castle, soft play for the toddlers and fun on the wheelie boards in the gym Hall.
