A beautiful place and one of my favourite to be in. Its isolated and peaceful. We went on a hike for 20 miles and saw no-one. It's one of the few places I'd always be happy going back to. It's far away from most places, but worth the effort.

Heaven on earth !! Up in the highlands a small town !! Picture perfect views !! I was there in the summer and the days were very long, so I think June is the best time to visit. The weather was pleasant. Limited food options but one can just live on beauty for the weekend. Walk on the Skye bridge and enjoy the views and the wind. The views are different on both sides of the bridge so look both sides. Spend some time by the lake, take a dip if you can and enjoy the cold water. The restaurant by the lake has great fish and chips and don’t miss the whisky !!

Skye is one of beautiful places in Scotland. Beautiful views and amazing drive. No mobile reception or radio but it's good so you can fully enjoy

I am in the love of this island! it’s very beautiful, really fabulous!! natural views of ocean, waterfall, all the lovely wonderful scenery, local shops, hiking, the small villages and the tranquility.. Heaven on the earth 🏳️

Love, love, love this beautiful island. Beautiful views, got a chance to experience the most wondrous lagoons and seasides in Skye. The only thing I can pick on was some of the local's appearing to display fear, anger, confusion at the sight of an ethnic minority in their midst. Very strange considering it was 2017! None the less, a wonderful place to camp, sight seeing and if you take a cycle...be sure to go slow. There are no barriers to stop you from dropping off the edge of a cliff when riding too fast on the road.
