This cannot go on. The service is appalling, no one answers the phone and the reception staff are rude, impatient and downright disrespectful to patients who are their most vulnerable There is absolutely no privacy when visiting the surgery, the whole waiting room can hear about your medical issue as you have no choice but to tell the receptionist the reason you need to see the doctor. I am now complaining to the Quality Care Commission as I’m worried about the elderly. How on earth are they expected to see a GO when no one has the decency to pick the phone up and they attend to be told call back tomorrow. Dangerous practices and needs someone to review it. You aren’t listening to patients needs that’s for sure.
Moved to Stockton from Hartlepool a year ago. I was happy with my medical centre but this place is just the best. I would really like to thank the reception staff in particular who always great you warmly and have a lovely phone manner. All the doctors and nurses I have had dealings with have been so thorough and so helpful.....moving back to Hartlepool next week will really miss the service you have provided. Thank you
Trying to get an appointment is impossible. All day line busy. Pretty sure they just leave the phones off the hooks now so don't have to deal with patients. Between my partner and myself ringing all day, my partner went down to book and appointment, rude receptionist just told him to phone again tomorrow. What's the point in phoning if we can never get through?
I am a life long patient with this surgery. The standard have gone to the dogs. The doctors were and are terrific. The reception is one of the worst in the teesvalley! When we are with the GP he/she says it is very quite. But the reception says no appointments very busy. Can the primary trust do something about these unprofessional lazy receptionists. We had good people I think after covid the surgery had got new people who were receptionists from hell. Dr Barlow before this surgery go down the drain please do something about this. Sorry I couldnot give a zero!
This is definitely the best practice I have ever been with. Receptionists are lovely and helpful even during the difficult COVID situation. The doctors are really good and have never had a problem getting a telephone consultation or an appointment if necessary. First class service.,
The drs and nurses are all really nice and very helpful. Just had a txt to book my booster took me ages but I finally got an appointment it's definitely not as easy to do as when I got my first jab. Anyway they all work really hard to look after us a big THANK YOU
Hundreds of times I've rang. HUNDREDS!!! Lines busy, no queuing system. Can't make the appointment online. So now what? I'll have to walk myself to the surgery, not really effective is it.
Fantastic family doctors. The doctors give you time and they really listen to you and will sort you out. The nursing staff and the other professionals are excellent. You are guaranteed to see a doctor any week day as long as you use the morning drop in. However if you have other commitments the drop in can take too long and you will need an appointment. Appointments can be awkward, you have to phone them from the Thursday for the week and when the weekly appointments are all booked up you will have to wait for the following Thursday to phone again. I have been with this practice over 20 years and all the professionals have been fantastic with my family and I.
Getting through on the phone is a nightmare line is always busy no queing system looking for a new surgery very frustrating
2 star rating. They want you to have an appointment via phone but they cant answer phone call. I had 168 attempt but always line busy.
