Bought some tickets early in the day online and got a great deal. Lower stall row F for four people. I’m very familiar with Tina Turner and her music and a little bit of her life story so the place/musical wasn’t much of a surprise but it was very well Performed. The actors/singers did an extremely good job. Their stage presence was spectacular. Many of the cast members played multiple characters, but the gal who played Tina Turner was phenomenal. As you would expect an excellent booming voice. It’s hard not to sing to their songs as they instructed us in the beginning, but towards the end, everybody stood up as instructed and sang along and danced during the final number of the show. After the show ended, they played a few more songs and everybody was still upstanding. Clapping and dancing. Excellent show that’s been there for eight years. I would highly recommend seeing this one when you’re in town.
Beautiful theatre for the Tina musical. The seats are normally small but the space in front of the seat is super narrow and you will need to stand up to let people pass as the space is too small. The show was fantastic and it was amazing with multiple finished numbers for the audience to join in! Great set and lightings! Bathrooms are small and super tight for the grand circle and there are only 4 stalls for females.
Incredible acting, breathtaking team, and harmonizing perfection: The Tina Turner Musical is an absolute triumph. From start to finish, the ensemble works together seamlessly, creating an experience that feels both intimate and larger-than-life. Each actor brings their role to life with raw emotion, capturing the spirit of Tina Turner's legendary journey with authenticity and power. The team’s chemistry is palpable, making every interaction on stage feel organic and deeply moving. The vocal performances are nothing short of spectacular. The cast, particularly the lead playing Tina, delivers each song with a passion and energy that electrifies the audience. These aren’t just great singers—they are artists who understand the soul of the music, bringing Tina’s iconic hits to life with fresh intensity. The lead performer embodies Tina’s resilience and fire so fully that it’s impossible not to be swept away by the emotion in her voice and movement. The production is a passionate celebration of Tina Turner’s life and career, blending moments of heartbreak and triumph into an unforgettable experience. It’s the best musical I have ever seen, and it truly sits at the top of the genre. The show leaves you on the edge of your seat, deeply moved, and energized by the power of Tina’s story and music. I warmly recommend this show to anyone looking for a life-changing theater experience!
Beautiful theatre and a fantastic production of Tina, the Musical!! Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful, as I accompanied my 80yr old father with mobility and eye sight issues, so we were personally escorted to our box by a member of the team. Really lovely trip, topped off by a fantastic show, thank you to everyone involved for your help and kindness.
The second time, I have seen this performance with this cast. Excellent singing and a very entertaining performance. My guest enjoyed the show. The staff are fantastic here indoors and outside fabulous. The theatre was considerate to smokers. It is nothing like the dreadful SS treatment at His Majesty's Theatre earlier this week. Aldwych Theatre, you have customer service just right.
Tina, the musical was excellent, especially the young girl who played young Tina who has an amazing voice. Really enjoyed it, especially as we got last-minute tickets and were lucky enough to get stall tickets for £65 each.
I was at the musical Tina. it's fantastic. acting, music, everything is a real show to remember. the seats in the theater are a bit narrow, so you should take into account that you come with a minimum of things and you should be prepared that everything is a bit narrow and crowded. however, the show is excellent and the staff in the theater is perfect. wonderful experience.
I have been to see Tina Turner The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre and was very impressed with what I saw and what a lovely show it was too and quite moving in places. I would go again and would see the show again . I was also told by others that Tina Turner The Musical followed the life of Tina from the town of "Nutbush " to her popular tour of all around the world. Also the staff were very very helpful.
I went to see the Tina Turner musical at Aldwych Theatre. We took a chance and went to purchase a last-minute ticket for Thursday matinee. There were other people queuing outside the theatre which opened at 12 pm. We were served by a lovely lady and brought £85 seats for £50. These were in an excellent position, centre stalls. The show was fantastic. I'd been told it was slow getting going. Personally, I didn't find this the case because the show was explaining how Tina came from the cotton picking area of America and how important church was to her and her family. It gave a graphic account of her life, no an easy one!! The actors were incredibly talented, and the actress playing Tina captured her mannerisms perfectly. It's an emotional show, also with humour and amazing singing. I feel so lucky to have been able to watch such an awesome show and fabulous performances. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing Theatre, spacious, clean ,served quite quickly at the bar. Friendly staff greeted with a smile. Went to see Tina Turner which was just Fantastic with great actors on stage, hard hitting story but worth every penny. Beautiful singing from young child who plays Young Tina Turner Fabulous show
