I have found my Tutu! What a wonderful evening of off beat and beautifully presented ballet show. I think it has finished in the west end now. But if you get to see it is highly recommended. This was my first visit to the Peacock theatre. I had a ticket in The Gods. £18.00+ fee. Fabulous view of the stage. And As you go down into the theatre my seat was near the entrance! Great evening. No apologies for the singing.
We enjoyed our visit to this wonderful Theatre located moments between Holborn and Temple tube stations. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The bar allows you to pre book drinks for the interval. The interior is very smart and clean. This was only my second visit, but I hope to visit again very soon! Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so memorable
Nice theatre, size allows for fairly good view from all seats. There is not enough legroom for anyone over 5.6. I watched Manuel Liñán - ¡VIVA! - spectacular show. Musicians and dancers were breathtaking. Very annoying were spectators coming late with their mobile phone lights on, moving everyone to get through, distracting from critical moments of the show.
Good theatre but seating abit tight. Easy access and bar on site. Saw Janis Joplin Story. Singing excellent and show good if your a fan. Atmosphere was electric during some songs. Enjoy.
Beautiful and quaint theatre playing great musicals. The space is well maintained. They have a large bar & snack area and ample of indoor tables to relax before the show or during intermission. Clean restrooms. Staff is very friendly.
Really nice, modern feeling theatre. The seating was spacious with really good legroom, and the seats were very comfy and the sound systems in the auditorium were great. Staff at the theatre were all lovely, and the security staff at the theatre entrance were amazing - really friendly, making jokes with the people coming in, wishing everyone a good day, etc… I have to say, it’s the best security staffing I’ve ever encountered in a West End theatre, so kudos to them. The theatre was very clean and felt modern, with plenty of room so you didn’t feel cramped, and the men’s toilets were good and didn’t get much of a queue. Would happily return to this theatre for another show, as the theatre was great and the staff here were just so amazing - a real credit to this theatre! The show Everybody’s Talking About Jamie was also awesome!
Saw Bat Out of Hell at this theatre. Venue was older and not as formal as others we have attended. We really enjoyed this. Seats were very comfortable and our view was good. The entrance was very simple and there was lots of room to exit. Facilities were older but well maintained. Location was convenient and a short walk to the tube after the show. The production itself was excellent - much better than we expected.
Visited for “my first ballet” swan lake. It was very well done. There is a moderator explaining the story line for kids which makes it easy to follow the plot. We sat in the box on the left hand side of the stage. According to seating instruction, there is view restriction but we ended up feeling okay. You can adjust your seat coz it’s just chairs to sit at the very front which allowed for the full view. Our seat number is AL 1-3. View attached. I would recommend this box to group with toddler under 3 because you really don’t have to worry about your LO kicking the chair of the front row and speaking unexpectedly. It’s quite of a private area which gives me a bit of peace of mind
There was a good rake to the circle meaning you didn't have heads blocking your view. Despite being at the end of the back row it was still a good view. It is at the edge of "Theatre Land" and is easy to reach by public transport. If you are visiting at a weekend, and looking for shops/restaurants the places along Fleet Street are more likely to be closed than if you head towards Covent Garden, but if you find any on the Fleet Street side they are likely to be less crowded.
Absolutely thrilled by the captivating performance of "My First Ballet: Swan Lake"! It was expertly tailored for children, offering a delightful introduction to the world of arts. My 3-year-old son was completely enchanted by the experience. I highly recommend this show to fellow parents seeking a fun and educational outing for their little ones. It's an excellent opportunity to foster an appreciation for the arts at a young age.
