Advance Performance – Specialist Running & Triathlon shop for gait analysis, running shoes, clothing & great advice from our experienced team.

Story

Our famous gait analysis service for finding running shoes for the way you run, a wide selection of running clothing and accessories from leading brands, sport science and nutrition, strength and conditioning with Synergy Physical Training. We also work in partnership to provide additional sports coaching and testing with inspire2tri.
As the Triathlon Centre we have swimming and triathlon clothing, shoes and wetsuit fitting & testing events and wetsuit hire. We also have an in-store sports injury support from The Sports Injury Clinic.
You’re always welcome for a free cup of tea or coffee and to obtain help and advice from our professional, well-trained and friendly team.

Superb customer servcie from first phone call to visiting in-store for free gait analysis. Helpful, informative, not pushy at all. Purchased my son new running shoes and at a very good price which was matched against online retailers.

Had the best buying experience today. Very thorough gait analysis on the treadmill and was asked loads of questions by the most knowledgable advisor. Tried out several pairs and allowed to test outside on a tarmac path. They are now really competitively priced so a visit here is a no brainer for any runner.

Excellent expert staff doing gait analysis. Very pleased with my new running shoes making return to running after broken leg.

Really great. Got to try ... 7? Pairs of shoes outside running, and had the benefit of their gait analysis and experience choosing shoes! Would recommend!

Didn't have an appointment was unaware that's procedures during covid, but the person who helped me was able to fit me in.  Which was fortunate since we drove 45 mins to get there.  With only a little input on my part, he was able to find a great pair of shoes to support my ankle suffer from over pronation.  We were in and out in under 20 mins with shoes, while not a brand I would have chosen, that are what the doctor ordered, literally.  Person was so helpful, that wife mentioned she's specifically going back there when her current trainers wear out.

The staff here are SO helpful and knowledgeable. Great for experienced runners and first timers.

They consistently go above and beyond to help out. They have the knowledge and genuinely care about the customer. Absolutely recommended.

I went just before Christmas last year to buy running trainers for my daughter and my partner. I found the staff and manager particularly helpful in choosing the most suitable trainers. They spent a lot of time with us observing my daughter on a running  machine to identify which were the most suitable trainers for her. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service and highly recommended! I had a particularly tricksy order involving returns, exchanges and gift vouchers and each member of staff that I spoke to both over the phone and in person was incredibly helpful. This led to a swift and pain-free resolution that was hugely appreciated.
