Lovely family pub, tastiest and generous food portions with a good choice of dishes. Great selections of ales, beers and spirits. Really nice and open beer garden! Would be here every night of the week if I was a local.
Really friendly staff, great selection of real ales and beers. Good food. Would definitely recommend popping in if your passing. NEW PIZZA MENU Popped in and ordered take away pizzas, they were ready quickly Well I had enough time to fit in a couple of pints so perfect . Sorry the box is half empty but it was too good to wait to eat . Really tasty I built my own but Robin Rutherford had a meat feast and Jack Rutherford went for the chilli pizza. Both of them really liked theirs as well. Good job guys .
Brilliant pub, food is always on point and won’t disappoint. This pub has a very good family feel and has wonderful staff who go the extra mile. Always plenty of drink to choose from with plenty of ales on tap to a large selection of spirits. There is also a bonus beer garden at the rear, perfect for summer family gatherings.
A massive thank you to Kirsty, Alan and team for a simply splendid afternoon. The food was cooked to perfection, a great atmosphere and a fantastic environment. Would definitely recommend if your in the area or like myself definitely worth the hour drive. I will be back.
Just had a pizza from their take away menu and what can i say! It was amazing! Very easy to order and pick up. Would highly recommend this and I strongly support helping your local pubs!
Came here for a family roast. The meat and the Yorkshire pudding were ok, the veg 2carrots,1parsnip and 3 potatoes on the plate where rock solid. The parsnip was like a baseball bat and I could only cut up one of the carrots. The potatoes where bland and had no seasoning similar to that from a school dinner. The peas in the side vegetable dish were raw and crunchy and the broccoli was as though it hadn’t even touched water. The cauliflower cheese was raw and had no cheese flavour to it at all, the sauce looked anaemic in colour and was as white as milk with no flavour. Starters were lovely, pudding was delicious and the staff was very kind, polite and really attentive. We did have to ask for gravy and condiments though, as none came out when the food was served.
Fantastic publicans so friendly. Great pizza and drink selection. Beer garden too!

Good price and awesome food. Will try the pizza next time with friends.
Great service great staff and the landlord and landlady are super helpful and amazing! Would recommend to anyone!
