Story

Accrington is a Victorian market town situated in East Lancashire between Burnley and Blackburn. The Centre itself has 34 retail units within the centre and 15 outside. It serves the surrounding towns of Oswaldtwistle, Church, Clayton-le-Moors, Rishton and Great Harwood and also draws visitors from further afield e.g. Blackburn and Burnley. It has good road communication with both the M65 and M66 close by in addition to having a railway and bus station.

One of the major attractions of the town centre is the large free car park attached to the shopping centre with 580 car park spaces.

Tenants in the centre include Marks & Spencer, Superdrug, Iceland, WH Smith, Burtons and Dorothy Perkins, Branded Clearance, Blu Inc & Store 21

Shopping center in the middle of Accrington. Large car park right next to the center, which is currently free. The range of shops available is quite small in the Arndale. New ones open and close all the time. There are cafes and food outlets, jewelers and WH Smiths. There are other shops for toiletries and clothes. It is only a small shopping center and would probably take 5 minutes to look around and find out whats there. It isn't usually busy. Anything you can't get in the Arndale will usually be found just outside in Accrington center or on the market. Bus station is near by.

It seems hyndburn council,are more interested in squandering money on aesthetics outside town hall and market instead of spending to bring in more traders.If I were on this council, I would be ashamed to show my face in Accrington.Accy Arndale needs to be offering more incentives to bring in new business even Preston offers better incentives than accy.

Good basic shopping centre in a town I have always liked. Much reduced in grandeur of the past. Has everything my little needs require

Oh dear. This place looked dated in 1986 and now its as though they have tried to keep it as a themed shopping mall of yesteryear. Well i call it a mall when really its pot luck if when you turn up there are any shops still there operating. Imagine a really bad episode of "Good night Sweatheart" where folk walk about dazed believing its 2018 when their eyes are showing them 1986 and you have nailed it.
