It's not as fancy as the nearby Rock but Mill Gate has everything we needed for our trip. We used a book shop, a charity shop, a lovely patisserie, a shoe shop and a newsagents. The toilets were clean and clearly well maintained. There was a nice atmosphere in there and a lot of the shopping centre is glass roofed and therefore we were bathed in natural light, which is always nice.

Brilliant place to shop a wide variety of goods available from all the big chain stores and a super old-school out door and in door market with fresh fish, meat, vegetables and delicatessen. Plenty of restaurants, take aways, pubs ect. A great day out for the family. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍

There is a very lovely & cheap fresh fruit & veg store here - really juicy but surprisingly cheap strawberries 99p a pack!! (£2.99 in other mainline stores). Also a nice smoothie stand - really good.

Decent selection of shops and right next to the tram and bus station. Clean and no problems when I visited. Perhaps lacking in some of the big brand shops but plenty of good chains and independent shops.

Nicely compact. Has the stores you'd expect plus some you may not. Some interesting stalls in the walkways. Cashpoint and toilets.
