Fairly standard town center shopping area. It was busy on my visit, due to the monthly Artisan Food and Crafts Market.nThere was a clear presence of security personnel and there was no sign of any trouble or objectionable behavior by any other groups.
Some great chain stores and independent shops, plenty of places to eat & drink. Shopping areas are always clean. Food Hall and balcony shops too, there's plenty to see. A great small town to shop in.
I really enjoy this shopping centre. It's close to the cinema and Starbucks which is great. Good variety of shops too!
CHICKEN AND THE EGGnUnless more decent stores arrive, there’ll be no shoppers, and if there’s no shoppers then the stores won’t arrive. Chicken and the egg, which comes first?nBurnley like most other towns is dying a slow death.nSuccessive councils have put each and every nail in the coffin, with extortionate business rates, high rents, parking charges etc. over the years there’s been numerous shops bail out. if you go to town in a car you get 40 mins on street parking if you’re lucky then leave, this doesn’t exactly encourage you to stay for a coffee, or a bite to eat.nThe increase in online shopping hasn’t helped the future of the town either.nIs there a solution? Who knows, but the way I see it is to bring what shops and stores there are in town closer together Burnley has shops spread all over town, i.e. the The Range, B&M bargains, Curry’s, Home Bargains, to name but a few. Instead of building a new cinema I would’ve used that space to bring these stores into a more sensible central location for what few shoppers there are left. Thank heaven we still have an M&S, if that closes, then the town will be worse than it is now - if that’s at all possible!
Not much here if u like coffee g8 putting up another cinema wth it needs more to do for all and especially for outsiders who could bring cash in, y should they we need ppl who have lived and died here to tell u wot Burnley needs JUST SAYING
