Great beer and food. Fantastic ambience. Ancient well in pub lounge!!
Welcoming, friendly pub serving good, well kept beers. Haven't eaten there since the pandemic, so can't comment now, but was certainly good pub food in the past. Great walking nearby so an ideal stop off for lunch.
Found this place whilst driving down from London, I am so pleased we stopped off for lunch. Lovely quiet beer garden, attentive staff and great food. We had the smokie and the chicken breast which were both delicious - i would recommend. We will see you again soon!

The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious and more like restaurant quality. A must when visiting Rodmell or passing by.
Nice pub in the country basic menu but clean and tidy with seating inside and outside.
Fantastic Sunday roast as always. Meat is always well cooked with a great variety of veg washed down with well kept ales.
I didn't visit the Abergavenny Arms on 17th June as Google suggested, but was stuck in traffic outside for some considerable time due to an accident elsewhere. However, I have paid many visits there and have always found excellent service, lovely ambience and delicious food.
Amazing food, great service, very friendly. Highly recommend!
Came here by complete chance, what a gem! I had the whitebait and the burger, both were excellent, beers are above par too - staff were REALLY professional and attentive would certainly come back here
