Really enjoyed the visit. The guides in the House were excellent. Never intrusive, very informative when asked, clearly so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. Being at the house for them is clearly a passion. Beautiful gardens and park land and amazing house with fantastic history

Big, dog friendly park. Think entrance was about £11, which I thought was slightly pricey, but season tickets might be more worth it! Looked like it had a few shops, and some nice restaurants/cafés to eat at. Even had a pop-up pizza oven on the day!

Loved it. Easy to get to. Easy to park. Reasonable prices. Staff very helpful, cheerful and informative. Great day out.

Expensive for family day out. We have 2 young kids and paid to do the farm and adventure playground. Wanted to see the house and gardens too but Adult tickets to see everything are £19 each. Plus there is nice restaurant and cafe but you pay £5 for a scone, so again not cheap. It's a nice place but check prices on website first to avoid disappointment when you arrive

We went to the Christmas Frost Fair here, and had a really nice time. It was £8 to get in which is nothing to complain about. There was loads to buy but lots of stalls only take cash, lots of food choices too.only negative is the aisle widths when looking around the stalls, you are constantly in people's way, and anyone with a buggy blocks the whole thing up.
