One of the best Sunday roast I’ve ever had in England! The spicy margarita is a must ...

Great Sunday roast, no sides necessary. We came for a traditional Sunday lunch and left feeling more than content. I could tell the roasted organic sirloin had been absorbing the beef jus because it was so juicy! Their fluffy potatoes were not burnt at all. Plus the Yorkshire pudding had a twist with herbs inside too. I’d ordered the cheesy cauliflower & broccoli but to be fair, we struggled to finish our mains. Portion sizes are large, staff are nice and it’s different dining inside the Mongolian yurts. We’d come back next time we crave a roast!
Not that busy during lunch but very busy after work times 17:30+, created by Bristol legend, and one Michelin star chef Joe Egerton. Warm and cosy temperature inside the Yurt, picnic table seating, not the most comfortable but provides up to 6 seats + baby high chair they are baby friendly. They provide for all dietary restrictions. Its an order at the bar style restaurant. The food is of a high standard and prices are ££ but are reasonable for the quality of the dishes. Negatives: Toilets are at the back, so if its rainy, prepare to be showered. The staff mistook our order but promptly and apologetically corrected it. Overall, a great original, friendly restaurant experience with a delicious and accommodating menu.
Until today I though that this place an eco-warrior veggie or even vegan food place. However their burger, made of meat, was up there with the best of the gourmet burgers I've had over the years. The chunky chips were crispy and even the coleslaw was spiced up a bit. The only slight let down was the size of the ginger beer but I could have ordered another if I needed it. I quite like the communal table idea too, as I was eating alone it didn't feel like I was hogging a table.
Absolutely lovely roast. Friendly staff also. Unique little venue for Sunday lunch
Great place for a great beer & more What an excellent place to have great food and beer, especially with great company. It's also much bigger than I thought!
Went for a roast for the housemates birthday, the staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were having a great time and the service was top notch. Roasts are very well priced, look amazing, and taste even better! Great selection of beers ciders, spirits, and soft drinks, with an option to eat outside or in the yurt itself. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
Strange sort of tent not really a Yurt. The place could do with decent seating rather than rustic benches, did not want to sit down too long so skipped desserts and coffee to find somewhere better. Food was OK, just don't look out the back where the extractor vents from the kitchen are
Great menu selection with lots of options for V & GF! Regular changing menu means there's always something new to try. Perfect lunch sat out on the decking in the sunshine!
Good vegan and gluten free breakfast. Excellent customer service and really close to Temple Meads railway station.
Great venue for a group dinner. Had private Yurt to ourselves, food was nice, unique setting and central location.
